Old Colonial Cafe Incorporated in Norwood

The staff is great but I was disappointed with the chicken Parmesan. The sauce and spaghetti were awful . The seafood looked good though.

Food was really good. Atmosphere was nice. Pricing was reasonable. We're a younger couple and this place caters to an older town crowd.

Had a b'day party. It was wonderful. The food was excellent. The staff and service was fantastic. Recommend for dinner or any function.

Really great food, amazing service. Prices can be a bit on the high side but the environment and the food make it worth it. There only issue is that the place is often busy. Check Google to see how busy it is when you want to go. If you don't mind the wait, the place is really good.

Good food but call ahead for seating very busy

Struggling between three and four stars. They have been a part of the town forever and serve a purpose so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Whenever I end up there it is almost always for functions. They use the upstairs for graduations, anniversaries, engagements, 40th birthday parties and the like. They do a decent job. Nothing too fancy. It ends up being easier and about the same price as throwing a nice party at home. Food is okay-does the job. Nothing special. Bathroom is vintage 1965. Good location in the center of town. You just need to hunt for street parking which typically isn't a big deal.

Nice atmosphere, good food

The Colonial Cafe is ok. Nice place but the food is "meh". Middle of the road fare. The beer selection is also "meh" ok just middle of the road not a big selection of bottles and cans. Didn't see any taps where I was. "Meh!"

Best food before u go n to see a show right next door.

Great food, staff, and ambience

Had a wonderful meal...stuffed eggplant parm was delicious. The amount of wine per glass was generous. Service was friendly and courteous.

The Olde Colonial Cafe is a standard for great food, a comfortable meeting place for lunch, dinner or after work get togethers.As a professional photographer, I have photographed many events here and the food served is hearty and delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. I have never heard a negative word about this local super popular restaurant

I ordered the shrimp and lobster over angel hair. It was good but the only thing is that there was too much butter in the sauce just a little too buttery. Other than that the shrimp and lobster were delicious the angel hair was cooked perfectly.

Had a great dinner with my parents and brother and sister and law. Great longtime local business in Norwood, I have never had dinner here, it was excellent.

Great service from experienced waitresses. What a difference it makes. Don't forget the best fresh fish and salads.

Great place to try! It's a local hot spot and the building has tons of history. I'd recommend the Lobster roll.

Great service. No onsite parking. There is a parking lot across the street. Great view of the town square on the second floor. Steak tip was amazing. The service was quick, efficient and just amazing. One of the best location for a 10+ party outing I have ever been to.

We had a bereavement event. It was lovely, from the food to the flowers, they thought of everything.

Each and every time I dine at this restaurant I am more and more impressed. Fortunately the same hostess and the same server Paul, make dining at a restaurant an absolute joy ! The food the wine, previously the outside and now the outside dining spaces are sublime. Carefully selected music and flowers adorn the outside patio. And tonight the in house made loaded nachos were amazing! The chips are made in house and the salsa and guacamole were amazing - don’t miss this landmark restaurant !

From the moment you come to this restaurant they give you a great feeling. Very warm crew, it is a lovely restaurant to go out with buddies or with your date. delightful cooking, talented chief cook and stuff, competitive pay and professional service. Warmly recommended.

I hadn't been in the Olde Colonial Cafe in over 40 years. Last time I was there it was in a different location and it's just as I remembered it- pretty darn good!

Been going to the OCC since I was a kid. My traditional OCC favs are pizza, antipasto and onion rings!

The food was great and there is a nice atmosphere. It was very busy the night we were there.

It's kind of family gathering place in the heart of Norwood. All most all the people knew each other and the staff is friendly too. The inside you have an open bar and the seating next to it. I had a Sea Scallops and an apple cider. My wife had a House Surprise which had shrimp and lobster. The food was good.

Every time we go to Norwood theater, we have dinner here. Reservations are easy to make for time i want. Food comes out hot and delicious. Staff is great!!

The meal was fantastic, had a bit of a wait, something went wrong with the meal, but when it arrived it was great. We will give this place another try since the food was so good, I am sure the meal will be out quicker next time. The wait staff were great and very friendly.

Not bad food

We chose to have my mom's celebration of life at OCC. The space was great allowing us to mingle with our guests and then move into another room for remembrance and eulogy. The food was delicious and the wait staff were attentive without being overbearing.

Most professional, courteous, and amazingly helpful people I’ve ever met! Last week we asked for a small Bday/ Anv party later in the evening and they did it perfectly. The dining set up, food, and people were truly the best of the best!!! Paul, Paul, and all, Thank You So Very Much!!!

Extensive menu and the food was really good, staff were very friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Most entrees under $25 and bottles of wine were also very reasonably priced. Dining room was much nicer than the outside of the building suggests. Cozy place. Will definitely be back.
